To use the Kitty Distempaid remedy as a preventative for kittens who have been exposed to feline panleukopenia, dose 2-15 drops, based on kitten weight, 4 times/day for 5 days and give Vibactra Plus twice/day for 5 days. 9 times out of 10 this will prevent the kitten(s) from coming down with the disease.
Kitty Distempaid is useful in conjunction with the Coccidia remedy when kittens or cats are vomiting and having diarrhea excessively. The Kitty Distempaid remedy will help stop the vomiting, diarrhea, and make the kitten feel better. Severe coccidia cases are treated hourly, as per Kitty Distempaid treatment to keep kittens hydrated. For less severe coccidia cases, the Kitty Distempaid remedy can be given orally 4x/day.
Kitty Distempaid has a 4-year shelf life. A 1 ounce bottle will treat approximately 6 kittens.
Suggested use: Give Kitty Distempaid per directions (2-15 drops) orally 3 to 4 times daily.
Suggested use for feline distemper: Select proper dosage of Kitty Distempaid; (2-15 drops) and mix with pedialyte per instructions. Give orally every 15 minutes for the first hour. Then every hour on the hour afterwards until the cat is eating on its own. Once the cat is eating, give 4 times a day for 2 days to prevent a relapse.
