Herbal Healer Academy (HHA) Organic 4-Herb (Essiac) Tea
contains the original organic herbs formulated by Renee Cassie back in the 1920's that is an effective herbal remedy for many ailments. The 4-Herb tea (burdock root, slippery elm bark powder, turkey rhubarb, and sheep sorrel) formula contains herbs that are Alterative (blood purifying), Hepatic (detoxifies and cleanses the liver), and Demulcent (soothes irritations and inflammations). Recommended dose: 2 oz. 4-Herb Tea mixed with 2 oz. hot water once a day for gentle detoxification and maintenance. Twice a day for chronic ailments; 3-4 times daily for cancer and serious ailments.
HHA's 4-Herb tea is to be made up fresh. Instructions are included. One package makes 2 gallons and can be split to make 1 gallon of tea at a time.
It is relatively easy to prepare and can be made in any equipped kitchen. It is recommended that you use glass or an enamel canning pot with lid when cooking the 4-Herb tea. NEVER use aluminium. 32 ounce Amber glass bottles are best to store your tea in. The bottles need to be amber, as the formula is light sensitive and will not stay as potent.
NEVER heat this formula in a microwave! 4-Herb tea should be taken on an empty stomach to allow for better absorbability. Wait 10-20 minutes before eating. This herbal formula is non-toxic in proper doses. These herbs do stimulate the body to throw off toxins and therefore it is important that you or your pet drink plenty of clean spring water and have regular bowel movements.
